Please read the following list of Notes!

emsTyper has been tested with Firefox 2 and Internet Explorer 7
It should work on all standards compliant browsers

Javascript must be enabled. Most broswers have it on by default.
Try transliteration. If it works then javascript is on.

Pali transliteration tries the free Times Ext Roman font.
If the font is not found it will try using Verdana.

If you type a long message then the scroll bar will show automatically.

Things you can do with texts you write with this web page
Print it out using the standard browser Print function
Drag and drop the text into the search bar on your browser
If you wish to Drag and Drop, remember to select the text first!
If you right-click on the text, you can use the standard Edit menu that pops up
You can Copy and Paste text into any other program
Some examples: email, bulletin board messages, online forms, dictionary software

You do NOT need to be online to use transliteration

Firefox allows more than one Start page to be loaded when you open your browser.
If you load this page from your hard disk when your browser starts up
then it will be in a handy tab for you while you are working
